Often wondered whether Slyndy ever used those glasses for more than decorative purposes. And, what you said about the missus — oo, nasty, old chap! Also, I am positively champing at the bit to find out whose name is on that card. Plus, note the trilobite on the rock in the lower left corner of the upper pic.

Chupe needed TLC, but got CPT. She may need CPR from her BFF.

Mr. Slynderfell appears to be a tad agitated. Hang in there, Goatsucker!

Card: “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap – Derring-Do Dan.”

Or is it “Derring Do Done Dirt Cheap — Call Dan”?

I just love these little touches of whimsey! I am the proud keeper of a trilobite fossil (very, very small) that I’ve kept with my “most valued things” since I was in the 3rd grade.
    .
I was entrusted with it when my parents gave me a “fossil collector’s” kit…!

Love the trilobite, Cor Blymie, I would’ve missed it without your mention.

What put Slyndie in such a mental state that he needed the nicotine infusion? Was is talking to Flimm? Or is it the name on that card? Is there any chance it could be C. Percival (any-problem-solved-but-it’ll-cost-yas) Trullus?

@T_Lexi: Trullus was my first thought. He’s the only villainous type I can remember who might use business cards. (Aside from Slynderfell himself, of course.)

On the other hand, it could be from someone much, much worse than C.P.T. It could be from a lawyer.

Am I off base thinking that Mrs. S will help turn the tables in our favor? Just a feeling….

Matter of fact, he was talking to Flimm —.summoned by him twice in one night, no less. As for the name on the card, I suspect that it will probably not be Trullus (though it does seem an obvious choice), but almost certainly someone that we have met previously. Can’t be sure of it, of course, but that’s the sense I get. Sometimes I even turn out to be right. But where would the suspense be without those sudden, unexpected, gobsmacking turns? However this goes, all I can say for certain right now is that any moment it looks as if Leeshkin is going to start chanting, “They’re coming to take me away, HA-HAA!!”

Wouldn’t be surprised if she does, since only recently it was obvious that she wasn’t happy about it. Who would be, including the head kahuna himself? They must all be sick of this Sword of Damocles hanging over them, with the accompanying fear and stress, not only of being found out, but of the fearsome being that they know all too well can drop you like a fly. So if Oggalulu does help turn the tide, she will likely have plenty of help.

Actually, after the trouncing Trullus just got at the paws of Goatsucker, irony says $5 gets you $20 that it’s Poicy’s card…

And don’t forget the additional trouncing that Trullus endured at Lucius’s hands. Last we saw Poicy, it looked as if he wanted nothing more than to crawl away someplace to lick his wounds. But even supposing the card is from CPT, as it could well be, I still doubt that he would be the one to do the deed itself. For all his shadiness, he doesn’t strike me as having homicidal tendencies. But he does know certain individuals that do, and I can imagine that his role would be to get the word out to them.
