Welcome to a land of strange stories and weirdly-spun yarn, where oddities and unmentionables lurk behind every tale. Here you will witness the plight of the mysterious Heckbender, suffer the misadventures of Derring-Do Dan, learn the unsettling secret of the Slynderfell Ice Cream Cavalcade, and behold the unraveling of The Bogey. A word of caution: stay on the sidewalks, avoid shortcuts through Halfrock Swamp, and do NOT under any circumstances make business transactions with C. Percival Trullus.

That, is some cool imagery.
“They climbed on the Piper like rats leaving a sinking ship don’t”.

I hope most of the rats surfaced somewhere out of site and went on to live long happy ratty lives. Chupa did just the right thing. I hope it didn’t sap all her strength. She could become Rufus’s funny looking dog!

Let me see… So far Margo has beaten Jamie Jones by herself. Margo and Lucius together defeated the Big Bad Wolf. Rafer Frost was smacked down by Jerry. But Goatsucker has taken out both Le’Omino AND the Pied Piper. When the chips are down, that’s one mean Chupa.

@jlbonnar
Chupa did not attack any Takers, but enabled others to do so.

Ohh! That’s about the scariest demise-of-a-villain scene in a long time! Wow, the relentless mass of rats totally overwhelmed the disarmed (dis-fifed?) piper! Grim! But what about Flimm? And Dr. Periwether?

I’d agree with you about her not being alone in defeating Le’Omino, although she was responsible for opening the cages and allowing the animals to attack. But the Pied Piper was defeated by her. Once she grabbed his musical instrument he was a broken taker; the rats just finished the job. (She’s one of the most interesting character I’ve seen anywhere, and one of the most enjoyable.)

Wow—scary stuff! Grim AND ironic—he who sought to drown is drowned. And nobody named Dwain around to help…
Seriously amazing art, of course!!

Those were some really angry rats. The takers are being taken out. So why can’t the boys be taken?

Hoist by his own rats! As it were. ;)

Piper was rife in causing strife. He lost his fife and then his life.
