Welcome to a land of strange stories and weirdly-spun yarn, where oddities and unmentionables lurk behind every tale. Here you will witness the plight of the mysterious Heckbender, suffer the misadventures of Derring-Do Dan, learn the unsettling secret of the Slynderfell Ice Cream Cavalcade, and behold the unraveling of The Bogey. A word of caution: stay on the sidewalks, avoid shortcuts through Halfrock Swamp, and do NOT under any circumstances make business transactions with C. Percival Trullus.

Margo & Lucius have tuned back in. Taking in the air. As long as Goatsucker refrains from playing the fife, all will be harmony.

Goatsucker looks so cool. Like a chihuahua that just dumped in the neighbor’s slippers.

Is it surprising that Taker would let many of his minions drown in order to get at two enemies?

@paha_siga
Rats are not minions to the piper. They are as much prey as humans.

The weird thing about the whole piper fable is that there actually is a frequency attractive to rats. One of the big Japanese firms was going to start their own networking standard, and hit that exact frequency in the wiring. The result was that they could not have a reliable service as the standard guaranteed constant rodent attacks on the wiring. They finally gave up.

I love that picture of Goatsucker. It would be a great print.

The drowned rats are a wonderful touch, too. Not so much a wall hanging, though!

But where is the piper? Watch out Goatsucker!
Sisyphos said, 6 months ago
After a near-death experience for Margo and Lucius, the sight of Goatsucker sitting calmly while clutching the piper’s fife should be reassuring and help to revive the courage of convictions in both. And—added bonus—if Goatsucker passes off the fife, she could get a freshly-washed rat-snack out of the water….

Goatsucker is becoming quite the faithful…um….whatever she is.
