    It’s one tune, or perhaps one tune per species, that triggers a reaction in all that hear it, which manifests itself as that person’s dearest musical memory. Which means, if he is playing for Goatsucker, then the spell on Margo, Lucius and the rats may have broken. Rat and human might react together, but how would they rect to musicc meant for Goatsucker?

    Goatsucker is, indeed, a chupacabra [as her name indicates], let us recall. She is capable of inflicting much mortal damage. The pied piper may soon be playing another tune…. It may not be pretty.
