Woah… It just occurred to me; if Rafer lost his powers to the extent that the lights came back on, then did the children’s existance become restored? Did the memories return, the pictures and possessions restored?? Imagine the chaos back in the boys’ town if that is the case…

Maybe, but he did refered to “His Savior” and a “place of joy and sweetness”, unless that was the amusement park where the boys kicked L’Omino’s literal ass which would mean that L’Omino was his boss! Could it be?

Unlikely. When Biff and Rufus were fake bragging to L’Omino about beating Rafer once before, L’Omino acted uncertain about what to do next, implying that the two may be rivals, at best. “Fun and Games” might be the primary competitor of “Joy and Sweetness”. They probably have separate shops at opposite ends of the Mall.

Rufus: “Funny, I feel like I’ve heard this conversation before. It’s almost like an audience is watching us and shouting out suggestions two or three panels before we get to the next action point.”

Something is not right about this. It all seems far too easy, and Jerry is setting himself up to be outnumbered. Or maybe something even more sinister….

Maybe this is no longer the Jerry we know and love. Maybe what Rafer did has changed him.

Savior sometimes means Jesus which has the same number of letters as Jerry. Not implying anything, just thinking its curious the Jerry is not sound asleep from Rafer’s powers.

Remember Jerry still has L’Ominos whip handle. The metal prolly protected him and he prolly wants to know more about it and the yip-yip puppet.

“just thinking its curious the Jerry is not sound asleep from Rafer’s powers.”

Why? He’s a Taker chaser, and he’s been able to remember the lost of his daughter. Like Lucius, Jerry might just have a built-in immunity. Lucius is also 5 letters. Coincidence?

Umm… I count six. “Satan” is five letters, but I don’t suspect Jerry’s crossed to the dark side.

Yet another Friday and a weekend of waiting for the next page from my favorite storyteller. I can’t wait… but I will!

What was Rafer’s source of aloysium power? Like L’Omino’s whip handle?

Let’s just hope that Rafer’s powers don’t return when he regains Consciousness.
Rainfoot, I think Biff has the whip handle. Rufus dropped it in the closet.

: ) Don’t forget “Dreams and Wishes,” the other big anchor store at that Mall…

If Rafer is the Master’s puppet, and Jerry is a puppet master – perhaps that gives Jerry a special advantage.

    Ok, 5 different letters.
