So I take it that Lucius betrayed Margo huh? Well this is bad, (Oh he shouldn’t have betrayed her!) but let’s see how this new chapter unfolds but she wearing a red hood and the title mentioning a beast, I can’t wait to see what happens now!

    Great composition for this one.

Margo is Little Red Riding Hood?! Okay; we need to know how and from whom she got the red cloak, and what became of Lucius, and why Margo is so down on him. Egads! So much we simply don’t know yet! And I’m not even talking about the Takers!

Is it at all relevant that Lucius Cole is the name of a bit actor that appeared in a 2011 University of Georgia short film called The Real Ghostbusters? (The catch copy on the IMDb description page is: “When children all over the city begin to disappear and the only suspect is the Boogeyman… who you gonna call?”)

Pure poetry, resting comfortably in poignant and lovely art!!

Algae-embroidered skeleton—I love it! I think all of us should use that in a sentence at some point today. Might I suggest “Over my algae-embroidered skeleton resting at the bottom of [the nearest body of water—in my case that would be our algae-embroidered retention pond] will you go out of the house wearing that, young lady!”

And will the beast be a wolf or a prince under unfortunate enchantment?

It is clear to see why you were honored with an acknowledgement in the LSOS. Your dedication to this strip is amazing.

    Agreed! Beautiful drawing.
How could Lucius abandon her? What a jerk!

I’m sure there will be an LSOS twist to the upcoming (and now greatly anticipated) beast.
The art is amazing. Just look at the bark on the trees… How long does something like this take to draw?

I hope this doesn’t take many cues from last year’s movie “Red Riding Hood,” which wasn’t popular. But the chapter title makes me wonder if “Beauty and the Beast” (previously touched on with Heckbender) will come into play.

Maybe the Beast will turn out to be Big Bird

In that hood, she looks a lot like the woman in “No Story, No Room” who tells the story about the Ice Cream factory.
So many questions!!! What happened? Did he just leave her? If he did, did he take the metal key and necklace? And how did she get the red hood?
And what type of beast are we about to encounter?

The Red Hoods hunt down and kill unnatural beasts, and said beasts hunt down and eat them.

Margo is in the dark forest of dead trees all alone. She is in a place unfamiliar to her. My kind of fiction. Poe, Chambers, Hawthorn & Lovecraft. I now add Kory Merritt to that list.
