The llama is a quadruped which lives in big rivers like the Amazon. It has two eyes, a heart, a forehead, and a beak for eating honey. But it is provided with fins for swimming.

    Llamas are larger than frogs.

Llamas are dangerous, so if you see one where people are swimming, you shout:

    Look out, there are llamas!

We currently have 9 llamas, all rescues.
For info, check us out at
    www.southeastllamarescue.org
They have a full range of personalities,
their wool is a variety of colors,
and they’re wonderful animals to have around.
Yep, they’ll spit, but normally only at each other over food, mates, or territory.
They’ll spit at a human if they are being provoked (like when I shear), or if they generally have a behavioural issue. Careful, though, if you see a cria (a baby), it’ll be love at first sight!
Thanks for allowing the non-profit plug.

Couldn’t have hurt much, they have no front upper teeth. Traumatic, maybe.
