Can’t decide if the cartoon is trying to be funny because you can use the detector is to avoid the ones with coconut, or to help find the ones with coconut. Maybe coconut is one of those ingredients you either love or hate. My wife would use it to stay away from the coconut candies, while I would use it to find them.

We wouldn’t have to use so much coconut if those dang swallows didn’t keep bringing them.

Were those African or European swallows?

Do they have a detector for chocolate covered cherries with liquid centers?

There’s nothing wrong with the liquid centers as long as they have plenty of booze in them. :)

My wife HATES coconut. She’d starve on a desert island.

Exactly! : D Vice-versa in my house – my husband gives all the coconut candy to me. Let’s hear a cheer for Mounds and Almond Joy!

Like coconut well enough, but there are just so many, when all you really want are the ones with caramel.
