    It reminds me of a display I always liked in the vacuum cleaner department of my local Sears….


    All through the 80’s and 90’s they’d set up a vacuum with an upward-pointing hose, blowing instead of sucking,
    and balance a big playground ball in the airstream….
    usually one of those volleyball-size pearl-marbled ones.


    Little kids would stop and stare for ages, mesmerised…

    I remember the local store where I grew up in Florida would use a beach ball, the multicolored ones that would spin constantly in the air stream…endlessly fascinating to a 6 year old…and a lot of adults, as well!
