    My very thought!
And look at his mother’s face – she was only trying to protect him from the dreadful truth that his natural mother abandoned him and his 4,000,000 siblings to a cruel tide!
And now the long search for his brothers and sisters begins . . .
    Where are they?
    Are they looking for him?
How many have been devoured by octopods (octopi? octopusses? i.e. how many are now octagon?)
    This cannot end happily.

Obviously, the local authority is more interested in the care of the child rather than it’s ethnicity.
    .
It’s amazing how many children are missing out on a family life just because “only black parents are allowed to care for black children” (and similar for other races).

As the mother of an adopted son I say celebrate the differences. Tell him what a special sea urchin he is and how he won your heart over all the other sea urchins.
