Our cat Boots has taught us to play his form of fetch

He’ll play with practically anything, and if he jumps on the bed and drops his “toy”, he wants us to throw it for him

After some furious skittering around on the floor with it, he’s back up for another toss

Yup, my cat Stripes taught me the same thing. It’s a ping pong ball covered in fuzzy cloth, so she can pick it up in her mouth and drop it in my lap, or where ever I happen to be at the time.

I had a cat for 20 years who would run fetch a ball of crumpled aluminum foil and bring it back for me to throw again. She usually got it all the way back to me before she dropped it, but sometimes she lost interest a little and didn’t quite get it all the way back.
