I vaguely remember a scene from the show “Taxi” where a company decided to stick to its three core businesses: ice cream, T-shirts, and thermonuclear weapons.

if this business tanks, where will Wile E. Coyote get his rocket launchers , bear traps, mini helicopters , rocket rolling skates and all the other marvelous machinery produced by Acme?

Good catch, Nighthawks. I specifically name most of the companies in Loose Parts Acme, Ace, Ajax and things like that as a tribute to those old cartoons.
