    A funny cartoon, but fortunately hospitals have gotten much better at preventing this sort of thing. For example, before my knee operation, the surgeon had me write my signature on my leg with a marker. Good thing I’m not left-right dyslexic.

    When they operated on my knee, on one thigh they wrote “Not this one” and on the other “This one” with an arrow pointing to the knee. Scary, isn’t it?
