OK - why use a light in the sky signal when Batman has a cell phone? And how does Batman see the signal when he is inside a building? And what happens when Batman sleeps or it is daytime and they need him? And how come the signal is not shining against a cloud or something? And what if the cloud is misshapen and The bat signal looks more like a frog and a Frogman responds instead?

The Bat Cell is rarely used because Batman’s always all over town, and Gordon doesn’t want to pay the roaming charges.

The Bat Signal is quite bright and big, so Batman can see it anywhere. When he’s inside, either he or Alfred will see it.

The looneys only come out at night, so, no need for Batman in the morning.
