Recently widowed Lola moves in with her son, Ray, and his family at his request. The potential disasters of Lola living with her anally retentive adult son and family provide the backdrop for a hilarious story about life. Life according to Lola, that is. Lola is a witty sharpshooter who’s too busy living life to the fullest to worry about political correctness, exercise and proper diet. She’s fiercely independent and struggles with having to live under Ray’s rules…so she doesn’t. A wicked sense of humor and blunt, but often heart-warming honesty are Lola’s tools of trade.

I served 3 years on active duty, and 18 years in the active reserve. I am proud of having served my country, and have nothing but the greatest respect for all my fellow sailors and soldiers. That’s why I want to bring them home from these needless wars.

Thank you sir.
My father was a retired career officer and many of his retired military friends (WWll) often spoke critically of the armed conflicts starting with Vietnam. But they could not fault those who wish to do right by their country.
I say thank you to all who have endured what they should not have had to experience.
I mourn for the fallen, the maimed. Pray for our human race to evolve from our violent ways.

That’s wonderful Lola. God bless you & God bless all of our troops, past, present & future. They & their families sacrificed so much to keep this great country free. I just pray to God that it remains free, despite the efforts to change that. Our brave soldiers fought & many died to make sure we keep our freedom…may God not let us lose it now, not with all of the fighting & loss of life & limb to keep America free. God bless all of our troops & God Bless America. Happy Memorial Day everyone.
