Since he is a dog and a dog’s body tends to float, Little Dog just needs to relax and then slowly dog paddle out of the quick sand.
Regular quicksand has water in it and even a person can get out of that if he tries to float on his back and gently make himself move to the edge to solid ground.
But, the tomorrow of what the old tortoise said hasn’t come yet.
