Maybe if we starting hitting ISIS months ago(as people who have a clue about foreign policy were asking for), we wouldn’t be in this mess.
So was Barry golfing or fundraising?

Mr. Obama’s policy toward Iraq has me mystified. Denying or limiting military support for Iraq while various ethnic and religious groups are being exterminated seems extremely counterproductive in the long term. The Iraqi’s may do what we want this time, but I’m sure Mr. Obama’s policy this time will be remembered.

The way we got into the first two wars was by supporting one faction over another. We need a policy that supports a free democratic government and minimizes the corruption of the people in charge. You can’t do a deal with the devil without getting burned. We need a careful, selective response not another trillion dollar war.

Mass genocide of the Kurds probably had nothing to do with it.

You have a selective memory, the list of those that called Sadam a serious threat includes Bill & Hillary, John Edwards, Lurch (I mean John Kerry), Just to name a few of the prominent ones. If we had waited like all of you Bush bashers wanted to, we would have to deal with a nuclear Iraq with more and better weapons. Like Iran and North Korea. Smart!

Like I said, selective memory. It was the nineties, Clinton Administration. Bill Clinton, Hillary, John Kerry, John Edwards and others that were saying it!

You mean leftist propaganda don’t you? I mean all we heard when Bush was in office was how terrible the economy was (while we were at 4.7% unemployment) (now the numbers are fudged to make Obama look good), and then we had the daily death count of our soldiers in Iraq. Nothing ever said about the daily death count in Chicago… What do you think the media would have done if Bush had said that there were 57 states? or "under my plan, home heating costs will necessarily skyrocket? or some video incited terrorists to attack in Benghazi,(nothing to see here, move along) or if any of his vacations cost the taxpayer over 100,00 million. I thought everyone in the world was supposed to like us now? I thought Obama was supposed to be a uniter and not a divider.

Selective and targeted air strikes make sense. What didn’t make sense was Bush and Cheney et al laying the groundwork to incite dozens of groups like “I.S.”, ISIS, ISIL, or whatever they are today, by fraudulently invading Iraq and killing tens of thousands of innocent bystanders in the FIRST PLACE!!

Extreme radical groups like ISIS aren’t any more “Muslim”, or “Christian”, or “Jewish” than the KLAN, ETSEL, and other religious psychotics over the centuries, like the Inquisition, Crusades, and other fanatic-driven purges. Stalin merely claimed Communism, which he also didn’t really subscribe to at all, for his progroms and atrocities against his countrymen to support his military dictatorship, just like Hitler. (Interesting that Hitler wanted to kill all the Communists, and Stalin was out to kill all the Nazi, and both were mostly homicidal maniacs, like Joshua.)

Oh, NYT, no bias there!(as said b4, nothing to see here, move along…) As for a slip of the tongue, remember what happened to Dan Quayle? He was destroyed over a slip of the tongue! What about Joe Biden’s slip-ups? He told the world “this war is lost” while we had soldier still in harms way, and then later declared victory. What about the fact that Obama cant talk w/o a teleprompter? As far as Chicago is concerned, I was talking about leftist propaganda.

A clue about foreign policy? Obviously you don’t. Congress has to make that decision and they have 48 more days to do the “constitutional” thing.
