Troll, that is a vastly skewed opinion and the jab at the 1% is unwarranted. I’m not saying they don’t feel that it’s headed in the right direction, but I’m pretty sure they dislike the direction of the country just as much as the next guy. That 28% likely represents the freeloaders, mooching off the system using SNAP, Housing Assistance, Utilities Assistance, Welfare… all while driving their Escalades around. Those who have nothing to lose and everything to gain by the governmental handouts are that lower echelon of the economy, because the worse the economy gets, the more “free” stuff they get. Conversely, the top 1% feels the loss when the economy contracts. You may not believe they do, but when they lose millions of dollars in net worth overnight, it’s still a loss. While they may be taxed 50 million on a 100 million income, that’s still 50 million being taken from them. Don’t presume that just because they are in the top 1% of earners that they are the ones who feel the country is headed in the right direction. A large portion of what Obama and his administration have done is to the detriment of the top 1% of earners. If it wasn’t, they wouldn’t be barking about the tax code as much as they do.
