Stop with the “red line” bull, and stay out of other people’s business. If we can’t whip goatherds in a rock pile, just what do the chickenhawks think we can do? Oh, right, use those tanks the Army doesn’t want?

Send Lisa and the chickenhawks in to end the problems, let her take out Iran while she’s at it.

It is absolutely clear that those Ukrainians supported by the US are patriots and those the US wishes to crush are traitors, and that the US hasn’t done nearly enough to support the patriots and crush the traitors because all of Obama’s Red Lines all turned into Red Tape. Obama took much too long to kill Qadhafi, and that’s why the US ambassador was killed. And Obama took much too long to destroy Iraq and Afghanistan, and that’s why 9/11/‘01 happened.

If Obama had any spine, he would have carpet nuked Libya and our ambassador could now sit safely in his radiation suit inside the US Embassy or Consulate (where he wouldn’t need to pay any light bills since everything would be glowing).

And if Obama had any spine, he would have carpet nuked Syria and ended the civil war.

But Obama has no spine, so US troops are not massing on the borders of the Ukraine, ready for a War of Liberation with both tactical and strategic nukes, as any decent President like Bush, jr would be doing (were it not for term limits that gave us the spineless Obama who hasn’t even ordered DEFCON 2 yet).

I can’t put my finger on why I think that our response to Russia going into the Crimea is somewhat awkward. I wish I could.

The Purple band aid “I served in nam” is on it! He has his two left feet and the red line is just the seasoning he needs when Putin hands him his head and makes him eat his feet yet again! I bet Putin is just so scared of this guy.. I wonder if Kerry and him will trade battle scar stories and Kerry can show the guy his boo boos while he was serving. I am sure Putin would respect that…

Appears this morning Putin is backing off taking over or annexing Crimea. The threat of western economic sanctions and the effects on the Russian stock market and the Russian economy is taking its toll. Putin, former head of the KGB, is learning he can’t operate with 1950’s and 60’s military solutions. Once again, as in the chemical weapons in Syria, non-military solutions are working and Putin has backed down or forced to co-operate. The Obama approach is working and Luddites like senators McCain and Lindsay Graham are looking like idiots.

Putin is playing chess While Obama is playing checkers. That is what is going on!

While I can appreciate your frustration with yet another useless session of bloviating buffoons having yet another meeting to “discuss” the matter, I can’t help but get the feeling that your only agreeable action would be yet another war. To which I ask, are you willing to put your life on hold and serve in the military to fight the wars you want this country to waste money and lives on? If you are too old to serve are you willing to send your own children to fight and die for something that is NONE OF OUR BUSINESS? Something that the countries in the area should be stepping up to fight first? Or how about a raise in your taxes to pay for this foray into stupidity? I thought not.

    WHAT?!?!?!?!
    No War?
Blasphemy! How are all those campaign buyers, I mean military contractors and suppliers going to make any money to buy their politicians? We jus’ gots’ta send more men and women to die for a cause that is NONE OF OUR BUSINESS! That neighboring countries are disinterested in reacting to (because if they wait long enough America will pay for it for them) and destabilize yet another area of the world.
Whomever invented the chaos theory NEVER anticipated the war-mongering republican party. Not the republican people per se but the republican party and its solid base.

Hey here is an example of where I agree with you.

I think that it is time to state your position and let public opinion do the work.

If the Ukraine wants to remain the Ukraine the world should see that it happens. Not the US.

If Russia doesn’t do as the say and simply support the free election of government and rather annexes territory and installes their governor, then the world should refrain from doing business with them.

Yep, no more gun sales. (number two export)

    No more wheat supply.

    No more Cadillac’s

    Yep………….what a hoot

Wow, good thing Tina Fey ruined McCain’s chances of becoming president. Let’s see…“feckless” foreign policy vs reason, consensus and non military sanctions.
