    Just as predicted by so many (so many with any common sense, that is), Obamanationcare is a horrendous disaster being shoved down the collective throat of the taxpayers by a pathological liar and incompetent.

    Obama lied. Has been lying about Obama care for 3 years. Then he lied about that lie and lied about that. THEN says sorry you misunderstood me….

    Pretty soon your paycheck will just automatically go to the government and they will divvy up your “obligations” and just maybe a couple dollars will be left for you and your family.
    Welcome to O’s World!

    Thanks, Morty. And allow me to make the point AGAIN that despite what 5 House Romney says on National TEA VEE, Romney Obama Care has been working fine in Massachusetts since 2006, to everybody’s benefit, not just the insurance companies and the stock holders.

    What a dumb cartoon. The ACA has already saved my son thousands of dollars for college (since he can remain on my policy) and he got through college fully insured. Lisa Benson is a liar who cannot (or refuses) to acknowledge the real-world huge savings that the ACA brings to previously uninsurable Americans.

    @ConserveGov

    You have to have a paycheck first to give it to the government…

    How in your world does that reduce waste, fraud, and abuse? All it does is speed the money to them to abuse it, waste it, and defraud those that work for a living.

    @ARodney

    When I went through college I was on my parents insurance until I graduated. I didn’t need or want an extra two years to mooch off my parents. Oh wait, I forgot college grads these days are not getting full time jobs that provide insurance thanks to Obamacare.

    This debate began because there whew supposed to be 30 million uninsured. After this takes effect, 30 million will remain uninsured and the rest will be paying much more for insurance. It would have been more effective to go out and buy insurance for the uninsured. However, this has nothing to do with the uninsured. It has to do with the government getting more control over our every moment. We are moving more and more toward a fascist (look it up) state. That is the real desire of the democrat party.

    Why didn’t you save some money, beginning when your son was born, to pay his way through college. Instead you want me to pay it.

    “Obama lied. Has been lying about Obama care for 3 years. Then he lied about that lie and lied about that. THEN says sorry you misunderstood me….”

    He’s not responsible for your misinterpretation of his statements. He’s also not responsible for your ignorance as to the verb ‘to lie’.

    Your ignorance of that term is most probably a result of your deeply flawed ‘education’. It seems to be disturbingly widespread in the here and now.

    “Isn’t that what the Right is and has always been fighting to reduce? Can’t have it both ways…”

    Well, it’s what they claim they’re fighting for. However, given the history of the last several decades, their credibility is somewhat flawed. I can’t recall a time when the GOP lifted a finger to reduce government influence on the lives of individuals. Rather the reverse, really.

    The GOP’s true commitment is to relieving Corporate Industry of any social responsibility of any kind.

    But having said that – when have the Dems lifted a finger for the public or smaller government either? At least they aren’t going around claiming they support that, though.

    If either party ever made a concerted effort to reduce waste, fraud and abuse, there would probably be deep unrest, if not actual rioting. Industry would scream abuse, and the teabaggers and the rest of the rednecks would back them. Under no circumstances can Commerce be interfered with in the smallest way.

    That’s the American bottom line.

    What I can’t figure out is how they think they can function without a sound, healthy workforce. That part seems decidedly counterproductive, doesn’t it? But the gods forbid the needs of any working people or middle class should be met if they can’t be stripped of what they own.

    What the H are they afraid of???

    “Romney Obama Care has been working fine in Massachusetts since 2006, to everybody’s benefit, not just the insurance companies and the stock holders.”

    Uh huh. I think you’d better leave the KoolAid alone.

    Are you seriously suggesting that a state like Massachusetts is a valid model for the entire country? A small, pretty well heeled state, wall to wall universities and moguls of all descriptions?

    Well, that would certainly be my first choice for a model for the country. NOT.

    But apparently the GOP is really afraid it might succeed, against all odds, since they refuse to own the thing.

    Just don’t get sick.
