Analogy’s wrong, the Hindenberg was nobody’s fault. Lisa needs one of the Soviet ICBMs that were designed to kill milllions of Americans but blew up on the launchpad.

“I’ll be the first to tell you, the website launch was rockier than we would have liked,” said Sebelius, a Cincinnati native.—————————————————————-
    No ship Sherlock!
You “only” had 3 years to get ready for the launch.
Imagine if a company took 3 years to launch its website?
AND it didn’t even work? Heads would roll.
BUT this is the big-government ideal pushed onto us by O and the Democrats, so nothing will happen and billions more will be wasted.

Nuttin about the Government Shut Down? Nuttin about the international fiscal crisis barely avoided? Nuttin about who started, implemented and FOLDED the Government Shut Down? You could have drawn this RepubliCon daydream last month, Lisa, last YEAR. What about all those current events deadlines you Toonists are supposedly to dealing with? Not relevant in Orange County, CA?

    - The site was so popular it crashed; yeah, real failure right there; oh, wait.
    .
    - Anyway, Obamacare will be replaced when it evolves into Medicare-for-All. In the mean time, enjoy not being denied coverage over pre-existing conditions, and genuine health care exchanges.

The New York Times take is that, had the Republicans passed the clean CR, all the news would have been about the problems with the ACA computer systems. Instead, the modest inconveniences of the shutdown filled the front pages, and the problems with the ACA computers were dismissed as normal start-up problems, a small price to pay for affordable healthcare. If true, the Republicans have done all they can to help smooth the transition into the ACA.

The gov’t can’t even fix the computer glitches keeping hundreds of thousands of veterans and their families from getting their benefits. I’m really with Jon Stewart on this one. How can an Administration that is one of the most tech savvy to date fail to make sure the quality controls for the VA and his signature program not be just as good as his election campaigns? Some glitches are to be expected and quickly resolved, but the problems veterans are encountering with their VA benefits AND now the ACA registration is unprofessional and negligent. It’s not a Hindenburg, but it looks like an Exxon Valdez. Unnecessary and very very messy.
    Respectfully,
    C.

Except the administration is “tech savvy” the way a sixteen year old girl is: They can text, twitter, and what-not but they haven’t got a clue how any of the stuff that actually makes those programs work functions.
Obama and his minions know ZERO about the actual technology they use. That is why their roll out of Obamacare was an utter and complete disaster.

enjoy not being denied coverage over pre-existing conditions, "
To late, that pool has been closed and will not re open till there is enough money to fund it. All you have is yet another LIE from Obama.

um no, the problem is not really the web site. Try no one is buying! Those that did manage to sign up will not buy.

Good point! Obama knows how to pay for fake followers on Twitter. Obama knows how to play the Sal Alenkey card in the modern world but to actually have the knowledge to run anything, well he did not build it. He only knows how to use it and exploit it. “leadership”? Well he made sure the election was won before he had them pay for the code.

Speaking of “minions”, the Tea Party just cost the U.S. at least 24 billion out of the economy according to Standard and Poors. All the while looking like despicable narcissists (Ted Cruz) or complete bunglers (Boehner) by putting 800,000 workers on furlough, and claiming they were helping America! Treating America’s economy like a pinata is not why we elect these folks, and it doesn’t instill confidence that they are representing us. It looks as if they are solely in it for themselves and the Koch brothers.

I worked out of a computer shop as a consultant for a while. It was amazing how many parents and grandparents would come in saying how adept their kids and grandkids were with computers. The only thing those kids could do was stumble their way into areas they knew nothing about and screw up the computer’s functionality. When the old folks asked “What happened?”, they would tell them “I don’t know. It just messed up.” Finding system errors or dysfunctional settings with no information would cost parents and grandparents a pant load of money to find and restore.

In one aspect the picture is dead on: Obamacare was created by a bunch of over-inflated flaming gas bags….
