    @Radish

    Get over it Radish. It’s Obama’s economy now. It IS his 2nd term…
    You’re like a broken record with blaming everything on Bush.

    Despite increasing the debt more in his first 3 years compared to Bush’s entire 8 years, people are in no better shape.
    Just wait until Obama(non)Care kicks in.

    We should just trust the president and congress to do nothing about this. It’s worked so well up to now.

    “Yeah, dude, Obama’s perfectly capable of screwing things up by himself.”

    No one person, not even Barack Obama, can do this much damage. It has taken a concentrated effort on the part of many people to make the American public pawns in a power struggle that benefits no one, except those in power.

    The American taxpayer provides handsome compensation, but that’s peanuts compared to what they get from lobbyists. Until something fundamentally changes, nothing will change fundamentally.

    I have yet to hear of any Republican/Fox “news” viewers’ suggestions about how to improve the country’s health care system. As far as I can tell, they DO NOT WANT it to be approved.
    -
    Or, maybe you have some suggestions…

    ^ Also, there are some people in better shape than when Obama took office. I’m pretty sure Fox “news” reports on the stock market, so you should be aware that the market has more than doubled while Obama has been in office.

    The only reason the stock market hasn’t crashed yet is that we’re still printing money. The moment that stops…

    Don’t forget the Democrat Congress that helped. The Greedy Bankers and the extremly idiotic and greedy people that took the loans they couldn’t pay for.

    But adding extra taxes, another huge govt branch, plus forcing employers to either layoff or make everyone PT will help???

    Just because YOU don’t agree with me doesn’t make it so. I sense desperation on you still trying to keep YOUR side of the aisle blameless by saying everybody’s a part of it. Sorry, your President said it’s time for Republicans to sit at the back of the bus, therefore if that’s the case, he’s responsible for this economy!

    I agree. Both sides of the fence are to blame. Though I’m not sure which is worse: the fact that the small core of professional politicians keep the atmosphere hostile so they can charge more to the lobbyists, or the way they’ve turned their political parties into Red and Blue cults. It’s sad really. This used to be such a great country.

    Evidently, you haven’t been listening. There have been comprehensive proposals floated. One would include breaking the state-by-state monopoly held by insurance companies on local markets. For example, Blue Cross Blue Shield, in some areas, controls 80% plus of the market. Allow competition across state lines and that will drive down rates.

    Additionally, malpractice insurance consumes an enormous amount of a physicians income. Put a leash on trial lawyers and reduce the $250-500,000 in annual malpractice insurance premiums paid by a medical practice.
