The line was almost as stupid as all the folks on the right saying we should step in in Syria and get a bunch more of OUR people killed, with absolutely NO idea who will take over!

But but he the peace prize president who knows about the mid east and Muslims and stuff. He is bringing hope and change and he knows what it like and stuff. "
This message brought to you by Obama voters.

Mr. Obama is a terrible leader. He has no credibility on any issue. For some reason, the idiots who make up 51% of the American voting public don’t care and have consistently elected him because he seems cool. I feel sorry for the American military who must suffer this fool who insists on leading from behind. I wonder what his next move will be, as his true policies seem to eminate from his behind.

I could copy and paste the opinion I put under Mr. Arial’s cartoon, but I won’t.
The essence of it is just because you don’t see marines landing on the beaches of syria doesn’t mean our gov’t isn’t doing something. I also support a no fly zone and the use of old cruise missiles on military hard sites not located near civilian areas.
The writings of Sun Tzu would be a good read for anyone who wants to second guess the military.
    Respectfully,
    C.

Actually, O my brothers, we have a pretty good idea who will take over.

But it will all be for the best: the people selling drones need more contracts!

I do admit, I have no love for our conservative fear and ignorance…..and the resultant hatred…

    @Mr. King

The sad thing is…they do “think” like that….
If one considers “knee-jerk” conservative reactions to be “thinking” .

Well, while I don’t support more war, I think the threat of war is enough to keep small-world dictators in line. Sometimes the perception of willingness to go to war is enough to avoid war.

For instance, how many countries in the middle-east were rabble-rousing? How many times did Kim Jong Il launch missiles at Japan/The US?

These things didn’t happen because they knew President Bush was willing to wield the world’s greatest military power. Obama, not so much. His only military actions have been to drop bombs, bow to kings, and pull out of countries.

He doesn’t have an aura of authority or command. He has an aura of an Orator, and one of salesmanship. This is not what we need from the most powerful man in the free world.

And this is why so many conservatives are barking and screaming. Not because we think we should be going to war. It’s because everyone knows he won’t. Maybe he should take a few pages from Clinton’s playbook on a lot of things. While not perfect, Clinton was a far better leader. And that’s what we need.

I guess some people like wars. The same people who think every situation is really simple.

Sorry, meant to say “during Bush 1 – Bush 2, including Clinton’s time” in my second paragraph.

But, an organizer is a whole lot better than a wealthy political hack….“experience” or no…

Red Line in the Syria sand.

You either stand firm like the mountain or shift like the sand.

Sounds like Muammar Gaddafi challenging President Reagan; you cross this line, you DIE, ok, you cross THIS line, you die, umm, well, you cross THIS line you die! Reagan stood firm.

Now who is redrawing Red Lines in the Syrian Sand.

According to AAEC, Lisa Benson and her husband have four children, ages 18 to 26.

I volunteer them to be the first troops into Syria.
