It’s smaller than under Reagan, but hey, would would ever expect Lisa to know?

Lisa thinks proposed giant gulp limitations is big gov, but the republicans passing transvaginal ultrasound mandates in several states for women seeking abortions is not?

When Republicans were last in power, they really reduced the size of the government, didn’t they? I especially enjoyed the earmarks as far as the eye could see.

Why shouldn’t women see the life they are considering ending?

As for Big Gulps, just wait until Barry-Care kicks in. All kinds of activities will be curbed or taxed to death under the guise of “We know what you need better than you do” and “Since we(the gov.) are helping to pay for your health care…..”

    Good times ahead.

The Dems are going to cut off wholesale access to sugar AND take limit the supply of exploding ammo AND enforce vehicular speed limits. Oh (wringing of hands) what will we poor freedom starved American citizens ever EVER do…??

What’s ‘smaller’, besides expectations of the current white house occupier?

No ones helping to pay for mine, I pay 325 dollars a month for health care and that does not include dental or vision, I have a 200 dollar deductible and bluecross/blueshield pay 80 percent, and I’m not complaining about it. You work all your life for it and now I have to contribute to the lazy garbage who get it for free. Go figure.

    Relativity….such great stuff.

Yep, smaller than under Reagan, why the deficit is even getting smaller. Obama only plans to spend a trillion dollars more than we give him.

I don’t get you guys. Always falling back on things like Bush had a deficit too, or smaller government than Reagan or from the other half calling Obama Carter 2.

Now I am going to use one of your tactics. You do know that the president has no power over what is spent (LOL) for it is the House that must by law formulate and legislate all spending. The President’s budget proposal is merely a polite suggestion (hahahahahahah). OK (wiping tears now) so which congress since say…1977 …. has approved a budget , stuck to it, and NOT added to the debt?

Now I will tell you the answer if I must. But first, tell me if you you think having more of something is better than having less of it (all you first and second graders tag out here and let the adults (heheheheh) answer that one.

So Obama is spending less and yet is adding to the debt. And at an alarming rate. See, Bush had a small deficit up until his last year. No, he did not list the war in the budget but he still spent the money and so it ended up on the bottom line Now that last year was a doosie and set a benchmark for Obama. Why he could continue to deficit spend at an alarming rate and still be able to claim he reduced the “deficit”. So What? As long as there IS a deficit, he is not doing the right things.

So is planning to add 6 trillion dollars to the debt over 10 years a good thing?

Actually, the difference between peak civilian employment, Reagan/Obama, was 300,000 Highest under Reagan was 3.1 million and under Obama it was 2.8 million. This excludes census years. Amazingly, (I know. Shouldn’t use that word) it was lowest under Bush in 2007 at 2.695 million.

    First they taxed my alcohol
    then the tobacco

then they ban my alcohol and it created the modern organized crime… so they brought it back, but kept the tax…

they have ban smoking so many place that it might as well be illegal. ( still working on if you can smoke marijuana in Co in public, but not tobacco…)

now they attack sugar under the guise of prompting good health but will not release the names of known HIV to their partner and potential partners and fellow IV drug users.

They attack football, the boy scouts, the catholic church , pro-life positions, but have not said a word about oppression of women under shia law, child slavery, forced marriages, oppression of the Tibetans, killing of coptic christians…

It is time to shun these people. Do not read they words, boycott their media outlets, do not patronize they business or the people who advertise in their media, do not accept their money, report them to the authorities for every minor offense, noise laws, littering, health laws, dog leash laws, zoning laws, failure to return a library book, mail fraud, too many items in the check out line, illegal parking, misuse of handicap stickers, speeding, failure to pay taxes, tearing the label off mattresses, failure to recycle….

Check your local laws to make sure they are still on the books… we would not want to do our civic duty without the law on our side.

Because it will be caffine next

Good one Lisa. So true… We just got hit with 7800.00 due IRS. I’m 72, retired and decided to pick up a p/t job. Unfortunately, they didn’t take out taxes. We now pay on that, Social security, the one time a year mandatory withdrawal from IRA retirement,(mine lost 51% over the past 12 years) and a small 248.00 a month FL teacher retirement from a private school. Husband will be 72 soon and his 170.00 retirement from a major insurance company where he was in managements is also taxed. In GA we also have to pay taxes on our FL retirements mentioned above. We pay our own way and scale back when necessary. Big Gov sucks!

Being a little obtuse in order to hide behind the “race card” ?

The cartoon is about Big Govt. and the “resistance” would be directed at Govt. (there are examples in all parties).

alittle disturbibg you would think this is an attack on monorities… what minority is attacking football? What minority failed to stop the genocide in Rwanda?

Focus on the Officials and their media supporters

Goal: Reduce Govt and reduce the Nanny state.

    I’ll tell you.
    They is us !
And we are subject to mistakes.
