Yep. Wait until the “customer” actually gets the bill for that “repair job”.

So, 30 straight months of economic growth is now a bad thing . . .

Yes 30 months is not enough. We should have killed that entire auto industry to save it too.

Yes, when it’s not enough to put a “dent” in the number of people unemployed. Nice job in telling only half the story.

Pictured is a Community Organizer at Work……A hot Dog Vendor from Philly would have been a better choice. He would know how to Run a Bushiness and would know about American History.

I think we had too many BUSHinesses during the Bush administration. They all went to China.

Lisa Benson’s imaginary world is curiously devoid of tea party culprits.

Under Bush there were over 12 million actual unemployed. Now under Obama there are over 22 million actual unemployed and growing. The economy is not growing.More and more small businesses are closing. In my zip code the stymulus money created 3.8 jobs. That Green company is closed up now.The school district got most of the stymulus money.Over half the 8th graders can’t read above 3rd or 4th grade levels.Only those to lazy to look up this sort of thing for them selves and the easily duped think otherwise.

You are SO right. And now Oblabla is going to give another solar panel company a bunch of our money. Any bets on how long until they go broke, too? He just does not get it. The government has no business trying to be a venture capital company. They obviously don’t know how. If you leave things alone the marketplace will eventually take care of it. Henry Ford did not need stimulus money, neither did Thomas Edison, etc, etc. But they did not have government regulations around their neck like a millstone, either. Washington needs to back off, put a leash & a muzzle on the EPA, their pit bull, and let business alone!

Don’t forget those red states get far more back from the federal government than they pay in taxes, unlike the blue states who pay more in than they get back. But i guess that welfare is okay since your ilk are the beneficiaries.

Under Republican leadership, laws were passed which rewarded small businesses outsourcing their jobs. The tax rate went to 7% and later to 0%. Along with low labor rates (30 cents to $3/hour) It encouraged business to move offshore. Bush and Cheney said that it was good for our economy as we could “Live better for less”.
