    Horrible? Yes. INternal matter?Yes. Bombing the country a solution when we don’t even know the players???

    Are you inferring that we would attack/invade another country without provocation.

    yes, let the world sit back and observe while Syria solves it’s own internal problems. Soon there will only be the victor to contend with. Is that your solution Trout?

    Tell you what, Bruce, why don’t you and Lisa put start doing instead of babbling? One good step would be to enlist in the service of your choice (no, Lisa, not a Tea Service), and volunteer to go fight in Syria.

    Haven’t we learned from Egypt and Libya? Sure, we can overthrow the bad guys in power. But who will replace them, and will they be any better? Should we invest blood and treasure for human rights and end up having to police them indefinitely like Afghanistan because the replacements are just as bad as the original leaders?

    The U.N. charter is somewhat limited on action in INTERNAL matters, and the Security Council, over the decades has not favored real action, guess who’s usually blocked things on the council?Fixed seats, and veto, are a part of the “hold up” in many events over the years.

    Well I suppose I would enlist again, I did that in 1967 once, but I don’t think they want old men. How about you?

    I did for a while and I did not babble while doing it.

    So tell, my brother, how does asking trout if that was his solution – you know do nothing and letting them sort out their own problems regardless of the death toll.

    Maybe that is all we CAN do.

    @DrCanuck

    D….I’d love to Doc. Why don’t we all as a human race learn how to not kill each other. You know “love your neighbor” so to speak. OH! That’s right. RELIGION keeps us at each others throat.

    SO we have to force OUR way on YOU so WE will be happy. Now you can apply that to both side of the coin.

    Now we have supposedly gotten together as people through the UN and vowed not to do these kinds of things but the UN has NO POWER. And so the question is do GOOD people need to eliminate BAD people and just WHAT IS the definition of BAD….

    (shhh pay attention Plain Bill, this is babbling)

    No Doc, how about you guys that have all the education and are so smart and in charge right now find an alternative.

    Yes, we have the education and we have the solutions. The problem is we are NOT in charge.
