   The ignorant and uneducated decide what is true and false on the basis of their “beliefs.”

   The intelligent and educated make these decisions based on evidence and reason.

   The evidence is clear: climate change is occurring and humans have contributed to it.

   How much? C02 accounts for .038 of the atmosphere. Humans are responsible for .004 of that? The only place were it is “clear” is the flawed computer models used to Double the amount of CO2 in the flawed model.

   So that is why the global temp has gone down in the last 10 years. That is why Arizona had a record number of days under 100 since 1913. why 1913? it is well documented that the sun was at it least active then just like now! Well documented unlike the flawed computer model of global warming who use weather stations with light bulbs in them.
   If you look at the historical evidence and look at the suns activity we are headed for a ice age.

   Sources are definitiely needed to support any claim that climate change is not occuring. I think one of the problems has to do with the phrase Global Warming, massive climate change is the reality. In some places you may have extreme cold while others will have extreme heat. Arizona may be ‘relatively cool’ (I still wouldn’t want to be there in the summer) but other places are having problems. Australia has been having massive drought problems. I believe they date back 10 yrs but I’d have to double check the #’s.

    Global surface temperatures have indeed fallen since 1998 DanielSangeo. However, this does not mean Global Warming is not happening. This is a measure of surface temperatures only. Ocean temperatures, a much better way to assess global temps, have been rising since 1998. Plus, the data is based on the UK’s Hadley center’s data, which does not include the arctic ocean.

    Uh, if I sell electricity BACK to the electric company from my windmill, and they send me a check instead of a bill, this is bad?? Benson should at least know how it works before attempting to slam it.

    Got a friend in the Central Valley of CA. She pays her electric bill (a small one) only during the months of July and August (air conditioning costs, basically). The rest of the time she gets a credit…solar panels on her roof feeding into the grid. It may be an extreme case, but imagine the effect of even a fraction of this kind of thing nationwide.

    Good for your friend Fennec and there is nothing wrong with that. One of my main causes are the Wet lands. You see the Wet Lands are a part of the Water cycle. The Sun and the water Cycle and the spin of the Earth are the main ingredients to the “weather” Those are main factors. CO2 as I have pointed out plays a very minor role and us Humans play a even smaller role in the making of it.
    Problem is Al Gore the sky is falling based his horror, sci fi, spacial effects movie on it. All 35 errors were slanted to warming and CO2. So now we have this cap and trade bs before the house and the only thing it will do is tax us all!
