Humphries-So she’s accurately describing windbag liberals suddenly realizing they may not have enough “steam” to meet their expectations and promises let alone handle the vagaries of this up-ended economy and dangerous world- and now LB is not a reliable or credible political pundit anymore. If you liked her liberal stances you have to discredit her other critiques with better arguments than that….Oh what do I care - I’m out-of-breath too! God bless Obama and all you liberals - I hope you handle the next 4 years well.

Did anyone hear on the news that the people in this country don’t mind not getting that expected tax break he promised as soon as expected? In other words, HE LIED!!!!!!!! Shock and Awe!

NoFearPup, after 8 soulless years of Dubya we liberals ( and everyone else ) can handle the next 4 years of Obama!
mytinytown said, about 1 year ago
Yes that evil Bush, you know the one that gave EVERYONE a tax cut and 2 different unexpected tax checks, that democrats hated!

Hold on a sec MTT… in one comic you explode at me and insist that you didn’t like W either… and yet here you’re touting him… can’t keep… your …. cr@p straight…
Obama did make some promises, but what I personally read from those promises was that he was going to move away from the radical ideological failures of the last 8 years. Try to move the country toward a semblance of fiscal sustainability. Living in MPLS, the one I’m behind is using infrastructure as a way to stimulate the economy. At least we’ll GET something for our borrowed Chinese money.

A politician said something that wasn’t true?!?!?!?!? But…! But….! THAT’S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!. Bush Sr said “Read my lips, no new taxes” and there weren’t any, right? We found the WMDs in Iraq, didn’t we? We were greeted as Liberators weren’t we?
No wonder conservatives are upset with Obama. There’s no precedent for this behavior.

Your right I said I don’t like him, the past 4 years. He has pushed alot of non-sense through. But my point here was about his tax cuts, that is 1 of the few good he has kept through his last 4 years.

We did find sarin gas, ask the troops, not CNN (main stream media)!
We were greeted as liberators, again, ask the troops, not CNN (main stream media)!
I can not say much about Bush Sr. I was a bit on the younger side then to know. I did not get politically active till the tax me to death Clinton area.

mtt, Did ask the troops, in 2003 there were no flowers. In fact I had to smile when I heard one sergeant state, “I’m on the verge of voting for Kerry just to see Rumsfeld go”. I’m still in contact with several soldiers. The last quote I heard, remember soldiers keep most things in house, “Yes, things are a lot quieter in Iraq now. You can believe about half of what’s reported.”

Yes I will agree, about half. The other half then should be replaced by stuff they left out.

Hey Humph, on that quote:
J.P. Morgan Jr. and his legendary business tycoon father, J. Pierpont Morgan, owned four yachts christened Corsair, and built three of them. Each yacht was bigger, faster, and more comfortable than the preceding one. The Morgan Corsair created major media attention for the times resulting in a legendary quote by the senior Morgan when he was asked how much it cost to operate a boat that size. His quick response: “Sir, if you have to ask that question, you can’t afford it.”
