    The roots of this current ‘Housing’ meltdown started long ago during the Carter years..another effort by the Left to push Socialism through the back door, check it out or better yet ask Barnie Frank…..

    Alexus, why are you rambling about what Conservatives might pick as the reason, when clearly the names you mentioned above ARE the reasons. I guess that’s just the self-defeatist outlook liberals have for themselves and America.

    Oh, you also forgot Jesse Jackson on that list as another reason the Housing meltdown was such a huge “success” in the early 90’s.

This bit of legislation was planned very carefully, as allegience to the Federal Reserve…. From Document No. 43, 73rd Congress, Ist Session 1933… “The ultimate ownership of all property is in the State; individual so-called “ownership” is only by virtue of Government, i.e., law, amounting to mere user; and use must be in accordance with law and subordinate to the necessities of the State.” Isn’t that lovely? WE OWN NOTHING. Everything was handed over to the Federal Reserve because Roosevelt declared the United States bankrupt, the first week of his regime, and the United States is held in receivership by the Federal Reserve.
