What’s wrong, Lio? I agree with Dad; this rerun of Rerunuts is hilarious (as befits what was in its day the world’s most popular comic strip)! Right?

I expected a sweathog to get “Grease”, not Scientology.

With both “Lio” and “Little Dog Lost” referencing “Peanuts” today, I wondered if there was something special about today’s date, but no, it looks like it was just a coincidence.

What’s wrong is Lio’s too young to understand, and he wouldn’t be interested in Mr. Travolta’s past glories anyway.

There should be a law against rerunning comic strips after its creator dies.

At least his dad likes it.

I’ve been reading “The Complete Peanuts” on and off for the last few months. (I’m up to the 1969-1970 volume.) I love “Lio” but let’s face it, in its day “Peanuts” was IT. (Btw “Thatababy” also has a “Peanuts” theme today. )

Ah, but these are timeless strips. Would you want classic literature to go out of circulation after the creator of them died? It’s the same thing.
