   Dad doesn’t need to “make” a memorable Thanksgiving; all he need do is look over his shoulder at Lio and his friends! There’s Ishy, the lovable squiddish base of them all, Mittens pulling Cybil’s tail while she attaches herself to Lio’s hair, a trio of spiders (one of whom is presumably Frank), a scorpion, and who knows what else lurking (perhaps under the skullcap Ishy is wearing)….

    Look at dad’s expression, he’s obviously used to it and even accepts it, he sees the fun in it too. This is the whole point of this cartoon. They are a happy, balanced family with different values.
