I guess Dad seems like a spoil-sport to you today, Lio. But if you behave for a week or so, I’m sure he’ll let you have your bazooka back, as long as you promise to play with it at the Artillery Range and not in the house-yard!

I had an arsenal that would have matched anything Cybil carried when I was a kid
Fortunately (for the neighbors) it was all imaginary

None of the kids I grew up with had a bazooka; all we had were hand grenades…and we had to get up a 4 AM every morning and walk eight miles to throw them.

All he had was a lousy homebuilt potato cannon. And he was thankful for it.
