Even robots need to wipe their feet.

Yes indeed, always wipe your feet, or mechanical track-belted appendages, before coming into the house, especially if you’ve been playing in the mud!

Maybe this explains Dad’s ratty clothes. He knows his kids a genius, and he doesn’t mind paying for some of the robots and all the pets because he knows Lio is going to be famous one day. Good parents will sacrifice a lot for their kids.

Just don’t take away Dad’s beer.

Making more work for poor ol’ Dad is bad enough, but Lio has to automate it!

I bet Lio can program the robot to clean the mess up, too.

Hmph.. and after Lio was nice enough to swap out the big stomping feet for quieter rollers when Dad got mad about the noise.

    Hmph.

He may need a track-wash pan off to the side, then step over to the mat. And it certainly should be a mandatory routine on entry.

Does Lio have to leave shoes outside or at the door when he comes in?

Dad doesn’t mind Lio using the robots to destroy buildings and terrorize the population, as long as they have manners.

Gives a new meaning to the term “tracking mud in the house”…
