    My hygenist said the best time to eat candy was directly before visiting her–after all the guck would be professionally cleaned. She then admitted that she would snark at me about eating candy.

    I always eat Oreos before visiting the hygienist. It’s about the only thing my dental insurance covers.

    SherlockWatson, they do have red filling in Oreo cookies at Christmastime. I don’t know about the gross-out factor for a dentist, but I do know it does horrid things to a baby’s diaper when they get a hold of a few.
