   I love, love, love Lio. It is beautiful to look at. So many strips nowadays are not much to look at. But these? I mean, really, Mark doesn’t use dialog because he is such a good artist.

   Sorry to gush so much, but I pretty much spent the last several minutes simply studying the second panel soaking in every detail. I didn’t notice the bouncing eyeballs right away, for example, but when I did they fascinated me.

    I’ve just ordered a bunch of stuff like that for my Halloween: the Eviltron (which you can hide somewhere, where it will periodically emit weird sounds, driving people crazy as they try to figure out what’s doing that), a portrait of a girl whose face occasionally turns demonic, and the Toilet Monster, which pops out of the can when you lift the lid.

    While it’s still easy to identify with a lot of what Lio goes through, in all honesty the ongoing obsession with Halloween and monsters is getting a bit tedious. A few more conventional grade school age escapades from him would be more than welcome.
