So that’s why my parents bought an artificial tree!

Hagrid’s been cross-breeding again–this time, an evergreen with a Whomping Willow.

Oh angry tree, oh angry tree
I shall not cut down your leaves.
I want to see Angry Christmas Tree battle Charlie Brown’s Kite-Eating Tree. That would be a deathmatch!

I prefer artificial. I could never bring myself to cut down a tree, that always just seemed cruel.

I’m frugal (read cheap), buy an artificial tree once and use it practically forever.

Assuming you own where you live you might buy one in a pot about 5 or 6 feet tall, decorate it, water it then plant it in the ground afterwards. Dig the hole before the ground freezes and check with the nursery folk on care tips.

Excellent suggestion, Gweedo. A lot of people here do just that.

Thanks Marg and do you have a multiple personality disorder. Your face changes faster than my weather. I wont give the smiley since you already know. Have you tried your animated smileys on the site ?

Lio’s fault for selecting a fur tree instead of a fir tree…

I have a diorama of the 1955 Playboy centerfold of Bettie Page (R.I.P.) hanging miniature ornaments on an 18” tree. It even has blinking lights.

Hey, Runar's back!
(Actually, I already knew this, since I read Frog Applause immediately before. But I thought that my exclamation would have more impact here. I'm so vain!)
