    Here we go again … repeat, repeat, repeat.

    I have about nine years of Li’l Abner cartoons stored on my computer. I offered to send them to GoComics. They refused. Sigh …

    Something about a copyright problem. They have access to the complete run, but can legally run only these few. Several years ago they were running other story lines. In one case there was a gap (Atomic Bum story) but explained a week or so was missing from the official files. (But did fill in with microfilms of local newspaper. More interesting was the Alley Oops at that time. Seems they brought Dinny back to modern times and local road commissioner was hard pressed to explain how tracks were appearing in solid concrete!)

    @Jim Guess

    Ifyou have lots of spare time, check local paper microfilms at your library.

    Wasn’t Fearless Fosdick a play on Dick Tracy?

    Capp was friendly with Chester Gould who invented Tracy and this was his way of kidding him about all of the violence in the strip. Also gave him some nice story lines.
