Just think, some of us subject ourselves to this kind of thing daily. No wonder our minds are messed up!

I never really got into the daytime ones, but I loved “Dallas”, “Knots Landing” and “Dynasty”

Dallas was hilarious.

Now it’s the “reality” shows and ridiculous sitcoms.

this is back in the 40s when they were all on the radio. there was one called “mary noble, backstage wife” (husband was a handsome actor). two of the villains were always refered to as schemeing loretta and plotting frank.

Every Friday the aunts would gather at grandma’s for a good ole gossip session because grandma wouldn’t leave her program, Days of Our Lives. Aunt Jess would do their hair, and the kids would play on the kitchen floor.

Super Slopt would be Super Suds. They ran magazine ads showing how one box of Super Suds (detergent) could fill a box car, tank car, trailer with suds.
Then, it was determined that it wasn’t the suds that did the cleaning, and in some cases suds were a negative – like when they overflowed the wash tub and onto the floor.

Along with Duz (Duz does everything – laundry and dishes)
Rinso White and Rinso Blue sponsored Amos and Andy.

It won’t bother you if you filter it out and you can with practice.
