National Socialists (“Nazis”) and Communists were essentially the same to the man on the street. Under Communism, the government owned all property. Under the National Socialists, all property TITLE remained in private hands, but the goverment controlled everything, including the right to buy or sell the property. Of course, you could say that the Communists were more honest about property ownership.
At one time, the political spectrum ran from Anarchy on the left, to Totalitarianism on the right. In that spectrum, the Nazis and Communists were a distinction without a difference.
