Finally! This is what a real dog looks like! I’m so sick of those skeletal dogs you usually see in the media. Puppies need to see more images like this. Kudos to you, Lefty.

After starring in dozens of Hollywood productions during the silent era, Rin Tin Tin saw his career end abruptly during the 1930’s. American talking-picture audiences simply couldn’t warm up to a hound who barked with a thick German accent.

Once he fell from stardom, “Rinty” soon became addicted to jerky strips and was tagged with a variety of cruel nicknames.

History of Commercial Dog Food: In the 1920’s canned dog food was first introduced by Ken-L-Ration because canned horsemeat was cheap after World War I as huge numbers of horses and mules were being replaced by cars and tractors.
Unfortunately, Rin Tin Tin couldn’t get enough of this new product.

    Instead of a wiener-dog, he’s a brat-dog.

“Rusty?” Rin-tin-ton mused, “Rusty wasn’t just good…he was delicious!”
