    Oh, Lefty, she’s fetching!
    And just to be clear, lest you think, “Hmm, it appears Ms. G hasn’t even glanced at the picture. That pooch is just sitting there. Ms. G offends me with her inattention,” I don’t mean she’s literally ‘fetching’ — the verb — because of course she’s just sitting there. Who knows what she’s thinking about? I certainly don’t. I mean to say she’s ‘fetching’ — the adjective. So to rephrase: Maggie is literally, adjectivally fetching. Happy now?
