   unfortunately for GenX here in the U.S. both alcohol and drug use are much higher rates for women than men. As a corollary, in 2000 for women in my state it was 5 STDs and most men had never had one. And because of both drugs/alcohol and the STDs, we’ve had an epidemic of premature births and birth defects.
