Pairing vintage comic art with hilarious, new dialog by Disney veteran writer John Lustig, Last Kiss revels in the absurdities of love, lust and 'life with lip.' The series originated when Lustig bought the publishing rights to a romance comic book series from the 50's and 60's, and started rewriting the stories for fun. Since then, the re-dialogued comics have been a popular feature in newspapers, magazines, comic books and greeting cards. Today Last Kiss is gaining popularity and is also available on email cards from Jib Jab and greeting cards from NobleWorks. Check www.lastkissinc.com for the latest news and product launches.

Ack! If my brain had been working before I took off for San Diego, I would’ve scheduled this comic on the 29th, not the 31. Why? Because July 29th was my wife’s birthday. And, Shelagh, I’m willing to believe you’re 29…if you’re willing to believe I still have a full head of hair.
I still don’t have my Comic-Con report done yet, but you can see a convention photo of me and the folks from Supernatural Law at: http://tinyurl.com/nmdeol

John, looking good and don’t worry, your avatar has a full head of hair. Have you recently lost weight? I thought I saw a photo of you where you were a bit heavier.

Cleo, I think I’ve lost a little. Of course, maybe I just had my gut sucked in.

I tried aging backward starting at 40.
Mentally it’s working out fine.

John Lustig. Let you know the comic convention is in the TV guide that comes with Dish Network. I have not read the whole articule. Some of your artwork is reall good. And funny.
And a very belated Happy Birthday to your wife. I hope she got to go with you. Maybe not to attend the conference just like most women see the sights or go shopping.

Kab2rb, Shelagh stayed home this year. She’s only been to a couple of the cons. But I’m pretty sure she’s going next year.
Our daughter and new son-in-law are moving to southern California this fall. (She’s getting her masters and doctorate in Computer Science at Irvine.) And they’re both geeks like me and will be attending the con. So Shelagh will probably go to hang out too.

doctortoon - Stop already, you have mentally aged backwards a wee bit to far. ;-)

Thank you for answering my question. You are the rear one who does. I do not know if your wife gets tired of what you do. But at least there should be other things she could attend. I wish I had a higher education, but I do not and employers are looking in that area. I do wish your daughter and new husband all the best. I just finished my pitily part-time job. I am on central time.
I have seen spouses go with husband or wives to seminars then while that goes on the spouse does other things. I do not want to pry in your personal life.

Kab2rb, I used to be a newspaper columnist a lifetime ago and I’m well aware that making your life too public can create problems. However, I didn’t say anything I’m uncomfortable about. I’m proud of my daughter and so I mentioned her getting her degree because (frankly) I wanted to boast a bit.

Y-y-y-you mean–you don’t look precisely like your icon?!
Aargh. I’m a compulsive hoarder of bookmarks. I now have enough webcomics stashed for perusal to keep me sleep-deprived for the rest of the year. So thanks loads for the Supernatural Law link; it looks great. Sigh.

Hmm, my birthday is in a few days and I think this is one of the best birthday cards I’ll get. Thanks John. Hmmm, that’s an idea, you should make Last Kiss cards, I’d buy them.

Well, Happy Birthday in advance, Enchanted!!
Actually, that image is on a greeting card. I’ve done lots of cards. I don’t have most of them up my site yet, though. (So much to do!)
Hmm. I guess I should mention that I’m now doing greeting cards for Nobleworks. The first batch (Christmas and one sorta Hannukkah card) are up at http://tinyurl.com/kwp5x3
The vivid colors on the thumbnails are pretty accurate to what the actual cards look like. (Ignore the washed out colors on the larger images. Not accurate at all!)

It’s great you are proud of your daughter and her achievements and also your new son-in-law. My own daughter has her associates and is studing for her ACE test to become a trainer. I also know and I am carefull about privacy.
You are one busy man.

I came back as soon as I could, because I knew there’d be a link to some great cards. Thanks John.
