Pairing vintage comic art with hilarious, new dialog by Disney veteran writer John Lustig, Last Kiss revels in the absurdities of love, lust and 'life with lip.' The series originated when Lustig bought the publishing rights to a romance comic book series from the 50's and 60's, and started rewriting the stories for fun. Since then, the re-dialogued comics have been a popular feature in newspapers, magazines, comic books and greeting cards. Today Last Kiss is gaining popularity and is also available on email cards from Jib Jab and greeting cards from NobleWorks. Check www.lastkissinc.com for the latest news and product launches.

For future reference, Charlie, the color she’s wearing is fuchsia (known as hot pink in the ‘80’s). Sorry, I’ll shut up now.

Hey, Hank & Ten, thanks for asking. I just got home Tuesday night from San Diego. (Hot as heck here in Seattle. Going for the all time record today–101!) I’ll post a con report and some pix on my blog soon–hopefully by Friday when my next comic goes out.
I’ll put up a link on Go as soon as it’s up.

This is almost an editorial comment on a case I read about at dailymail.co.uk. Note the Brit placement of the steering wheel.

The (worst) pick up line I never used:
“You remind me of my 4th wife.”
“How many times have you been married?”
“Three, so far.”

Sure, let’s talk after the honeymoon.

It’s the women now being scrintize. Usually it’s the men who are and one in particular is locked up for court.
At these comic funkchins do creators have people dress the part of the characters they create.
Be interesting to see the ones I like to read.

Kab, most people don’t wear costumes. But some do–portraying characters from movie, TV shows and comics.
Here’s a link to some photos (not take by me) from Comic-Con International: http://tinyurl.com/m9bsn8
Alas! There are no Last Kiss costumes. (I wonder what they’d be like if there were.)

Well, I’m old enough to remember my mom’s bras, size 36C, in the old Playtex torpedo style. My guess if you were going to do a Last Kiss costume, you’d start there. Because if I remember right, that turned any blouse or sweater into Last Kiss style.

Yes, the torpedo look would be a great start. I’ve actually been playing around with the idea of using some continuing characters. That would help too.

John Lustig: Thanks for sharing those photos, there were some great costumes there.

John, I’ll volunteer to be in the Last Kiss Costumed Club if you ever decide on costumes! We could follow you around and act out your scenes at all the cons.
Hahaha - nerd alert!
