Pairing vintage comic art with hilarious, new dialog by Disney veteran writer John Lustig, Last Kiss revels in the absurdities of love, lust and 'life with lip.' The series originated when Lustig bought the publishing rights to a romance comic book series from the 50's and 60's, and started rewriting the stories for fun. Since then, the re-dialogued comics have been a popular feature in newspapers, magazines, comic books and greeting cards. Today Last Kiss is gaining popularity and is also available on email cards from Jib Jab and greeting cards from NobleWorks. Check www.lastkissinc.com for the latest news and product launches.

Congratulations on your daughter’s wedding on Thursday, John.

Just got back from the wedding a few minutes ago. Very unconventional and fun. Thanks for the good wishes everyone. (By the way–as you probably guessed–today’s comic is not based on anything from my real life. My new son-in-law definitely has my approval!)

Congratulations John.
Is this the same daughter who recently graduated from college?

Yup, Donkeymom, it’s the same daughter. Hmm. I don’t have photos from the wedding yet, but here are some silly photos and info from before the wedding that’ll give you an idea of how unconventional the bride and groom approached their big day: http://tinyurl.com/kw9hks
By the way, the wedding had a steam punk theme; Caitie marched down the aisle to the theme from Star Wars; and the wedding cake was shaped like two giant gears from the computer game Myst.

So John, did you go dressed in battle gear. I like weddings that don’t require suits.

I wore a suit (with a Disney characters tie), but dressing up was very optional. As father of the bride, though, I wanted to be spiffed up. Normally, I avoid suits and it has to be a special occasion. This was.
