And of course Matt Drudge is going to use this as another “Fact” to show that America is being made into Mexico North.
He already almost had an apopleptic fit when he found out that salsa outsells ketchup in America.

Make your eggs then flip a flour tortilla over the hot burner a few times, run it across a stick of butter, um um um.

C’mon! Wouldn’t you rather see a hot girl’s/guy’s buns? Who cares what their tortillas looks like!

Drudge is an “aggregate” site, and the best out there. He links to articles/websites both left and right. It’s the fact that he includes “the right” that bugs you. Go watch Chris Matthews.

Please show me where Drudge put up anything complimentary of the left. He links to some cultural stuff, especially sensational/weird news. His political links are almost all hard right.

“Please show me where Drudge put up anything complimentary of the left.”

Complimentary to the left? What does that even mean? What kind of Obamababy are you? You’ve just identified what’s wrong with the Obamamedia, They’re not there to compliment anyone.

There’s plenty of media outfits that just regurgitate what the White House and Carney spit out. We have 5 years as an example. Drudge links to their BS, points out hypocrisy, but he doesn’t only do it only for Democrats, he does it to Republicans also. You’re not going to find “complimentary” coverage of anyone/thing on Drudge. Maybe you’ve missed the links regarding the “Republican Establishment”/Moderate/“Tea Party” infighting. Is this “complementary”:? (This doesn’t mean he doesn’t lean right. He obviously does. Deal with it.)

It’s an AGRAGATE site. He’ll link to both The Hill (right) and Politico (left). It’s not his fault that he’ll reprint a story that got no national media attention because the NYTimes decided for us that it didn’t deserve attention. In fact, he’s at his best when he focuses the Nations eyes on something that the Main Stream Media decided for us that it wasn’t important enough to fit into “All
The News That’s Fit to Know”. Those days are over. This should be celebrated by both the Left and the Right. Deal with it.

Dude, the fact that the site uses liberal info at all is what is good. Why is it that you think the info has to be complimentary? Drudge let’s the article send it’s own message which is usually a reflection of the subject of the article. Whether or not the info is good or bad is a reflection of the articles subject not Drudge.

And we are now going to argue about bread? How many cultures other than Mexican use a flat bread in their diet?

Me? I have to agree that tortillas make a good bread to use with stew and soup and that peanut butter goes well with anything … thanks to the Bolivians, GW Carver and Kellogg

parker misses Sr.Bullwinkle and Mr.Humphries: Tex-Mex includes not only Texas and New Mexico, but also the four bordering states in Mexico. Just as Mexicali includes not just California and Arizona, but Baja and Sonora. Most of what we call “Chinese” dishes were invented in San Francisco by Cantonese immigrants. So chili con carne was invented in the 1870s in San Antonio and enchiladas from 1880s Albuquerque. Farther south in Mexico, you get sea food dishes near the coast and French and German influences inland, but the desert north will recognize Tex-Mex and Mexicali with no difficulty.

I had the same problem in Vancouver. Dialog at the border:
    Customs: Citizen?
    Me: Landed (green card analog).
C: How long were you out of the country?
    M: (check watch) 20 minutes.
    C: Buy anything?
    M: Yes.
    C: What?
M: (motioning to the sack) Ten dozen tortillas.
    C: Get on through.
