This actually happened ? I’m shocked that in this day & age here in America we have racist judges making these life changing decisions tearing apart families. While it’s a good idea to learn English there’s no mandate in the constitution saying 1 must learn it. Unbelievable. Hopefully this Judge will get disbarred.

There are too many immigrants from overseas who refuse to learn English. Many of them have been in the US for decades and they still cling to the old world. They will never become integrated into the American fabric, much to everyone else’s detriment.

I doubt the cartoon gave us enough information to understand the decision.

My parents and grand parents moved to the USA in the 20s to escape the wars in Mexico.

There was a great deal of discrimination in all directions. My grandmother in particular hated Mexican Americans. She consider them to be of a lower culture. My father would not let me listen to a Mexican radio station because he considered Mexican American Spanish to be culturally inferior etc.

They did and still do strongly discriminate against Mexican with a large Indian content.

    Discrimination works both ways.

Cepa, you are right, the person that triggered this nightmare is Abigail Medina, from Mexican descent. She fabricated a crazy story based on lies that this gang happily followed to justify? explain? sustain? this charade.
I’ve been reading all the documentation available at SPLC and the judge, even though he is mentioned as a co-conspirator, is nowhere mentioned as a defendant; I am afraid he will not be touched.
