Every way they can to wiggle out of their obligation. They can only move the cost so much to their customers. It just means less money in their pockets. And they are still in the top 10%

I don’t know what SkepticCal is talking about. I don’t know any crook in the world who wouldn’t accept that deal. Steal what you can and if you get caught you only have to give back 35% or 5.25% of what you stole.

Dear Comrade Alcaraz: Apple didn’t write the tax code. They payt the taxes they are required by law to pay. Not the taxes lying left fringer morons feel they should pay.

“Apple Corp. has obeyed the laws of the United States of America.”

So say Apple’s lawyers. I’m not taking their word for it. There are some discrepancies in Apple’s reported US income, though that is small potatoes compared to the income they have channeled to their Irish subsidiaries.

    “We want open borders now!”

Fine, if we have something approaching a level playing field. It’s one thing to argue for moving low skilled jobs to Bangladesh, it’s another to defend sweatshops. As far as tax issues go, big corporations are already flocking to small nations that can be bribed into all sorts of nonsense.

Apple chooses to avoid declaring it’s profits in the US in order to avoid taxes. Apple is an American-based business, with most of its work done here, and most of its employee base here in the US. Does it seem right that Apple should escape with 65% of its income untouched by the Federal Government? Not at all.

Members of the T-party are close-minded authoritarian followers. . Nothing gets in except what they can look up in their latest installment of their conservapedia. can look at. fox "news is an unashamed mouthpiece for the extreme right wing. they don’t tell truth, the peddle propaganda and good little T-party-ers believe every word! Polls have shown that those who watch fox are wrong more than anyone else.
I’m happy to be an open minded liberal who believes in learning new things, admitting when I have been mislead and don’t feel I have to call anyone who doesn’t believe a liar. Alcaraz is not your comrade.Nor is he mine. .

“late addition: You have successfully used the ultimate progressive defense –

    “IT’S NOT FAIR””

Darn right! That’s what we said before the Magna Carta. That’s what we said during Tyler’s Rebellion. That’s what we said before the Declaration of Independence. That’s what we said before the Wagner Act.

I’m for free trade & the benefits of comparative advantage, but not free exploitation. If you want to defend what is essentially feudalism, keep at it.

So open minded that your brain has fallen out.
Don’t watch Fox News, watch MSNBC, right?
Chris Mathews getting a stiffy everytime he hears Obammy’s voice.
O’Donnel foaming at the mouth while spouting propaganda.
Madow sneering at everything not LGBT.
    Oh, yeah.
    Great source od information.
