Oh. Now I get it. It’s April Fool’s Day. Nothing like the comic strip switcheroo.

Here’s the door to the new ranch.
    .
My little Pagar did something right there.
    .
So what do you want me to do?
    …… clean it up, silly.

Lucy: “You must work hard on my ranch.”
    Linus: “Fine.”

Lucy: “I’m going to pay you very little, very very little.”

Linus: “At least you’re going to give me citizenship?”
    Lucy: “Maybe in 13 years.”

75 years in So. Cal and I can’t do Spanish. I should be ashamed of myself.

    My name is Pancho,
    I work on a rancho,
I earn five dollars a day,
    I go see Miss Lucy,
    She gives me some -—,
and takes my five dollars away.

    @avimecca

Thank you. With a little work, I got everything but the punchline. I missed “citizenship”, but did get something about " going to the city." Pretty close, even metaphorical. And I missed trece, I read it as 3, which would have been "tres. and makes no sense, no joke.

I, too, thank you for the translation. In the ‘50s when my high school wanted me to take Spanish, I wanted French. Nowadays I wish I’d done what they wanted me to do. Could sure use it here in the Coachella Valley in Southern California.
