    English should be the required language in schools for one reason alone: #1. All the How to, Where to, When to, et cetera, is locked up in the nation’s libraries,,, In English and no citizen or prospective citizen should be denied access to any of that knowledge!

    The 3rd & 4th generation descendants of European immigrants like to believe that all their ancestors immediately learned English. There were many who stayed within the ethnic conclaves & never spoke much English. Some communities in the upper mid-west spoke German until WWII.

    The one country that neanderthals were never found in was Africa. Many of us have about 4% of genetic material from the neanderthals.
